To enrich the cultural dialogue of consciousness through interactive edutainment, the DMTRMX seeks Artistic, Scientific and Spiritual Consolidation. The CODEX serves as the education aspect of the project, and widens our pinhole perceptions so the community can access multi-disciplenary knowledge of human knowledge. Our seemingly unique mental faculty called consciousness allows for the collective ability to reflect on our surroundings as well as refer to ourselves as a distinct part of the environmental realm. The result of an increasingly complex self-awareness process, language allows us to share the nature of these contemplations in an externalized informational realm. 

Language and consciousness exist as symbiotic partners that interact within the broader context of culture. However, language does not control consciousness, or vice versa. And, given their intimate relationship in our human evolutionary history, it becomes impossible to imagine one without the other.  In pursuit of our goal to create a multi-dimensional language system, we must understand that language facilitates the interaction between mind, experience and meaning.

Language operates on many levels, and goes beyond visual/auditory language (Pictographic, Hieroglyphic, Cuneiform, Alphabetic) that describes a configuration of symbols in relation to their meaning, which generates an infinite amount of arrangements. But we must also think outside-in and inside-out to fully understand the depth of language; consider conscious/unconscious, body language, sign language/Braille, dress, time, numerical, music, taxonomy, periodic table, maps/navigation, landscapes, brands, underground, and computer languages. Instills values, behaviors and thought processes that govern all facets of life.

Pattern Alignment / Focus (Alternatives for societal transformation). The method communities manage collective memory of common experiences, but perceptions and words change over time, so we deconstruct/reconstruct our symbol set. These meta-realities allow cultures to reflect on their accumulated knowledge with more abstract methods. MYTHOLOGY RMX Hesiod’s Theogony (800 BC) became the blueprint of Western culture. The poet fused many Divine traditions, and organized into one myth with fundamental truths of the Universe.

By blurring the lines between science, spirituality and philosophy the project intends to raise questions about the nature of truth. What is it? And how does a version of any story affect identity, perception, and ultimately response? In this project, language is treated as an abstract living tool. It is abstract in that it links ideas, referents, and words in an indirect way, so the abstraction of language is used as an interface.

Phantasmagoric codification systems such as visionary art, alchemy, I-Ching, and every major religion offers great reference for the spiritual connection to the physical. symbiosis of the quantum, physical & spiritual. As a basic set of forces that course throughout the universe, energy is a truly fundamental common medium. Transformations between the states of matter and energy result in the changes that animate the known universe. Though our scientific knowledge of these forces is far from complete (they have yet to be unified into a grand theory), people generally have a fairly coherent "folk understanding" of how things work. We can predict with a fair degree of precision the dynamics of energy and matter. At the subatomic and astronomic levels however, these behaviors become far less predictable and quite counterintuitive. 

However, the fact that something is "unknown", does not necessarily mean that it is "unknowable". It is possible that our conceptual models and our cognitive powers are inadequate to render comprehensible the complete workings of the cosmos. Another possibility is that we haven't yet evolved to a sufficient threshold of consciousness to fully understand the universe. Whatever the case, the universe is not reluctant to render its secrets to us. It is our inability or unwillingness to clearly interact with it that holds us back from a more complete understanding.

Like life, a story’s veracity is only activated by an audience. Thus, community engagement plays a key role in the DMTRMX experience, and offers the academics, hobbyists, prophets, utilitarians, mystics, scientists, philosophers, and lunatics to be the lunar force influencing the wave of change. We hope to manifest Feedback Encouragement, or an open source upgrade as a healthy mechanism for enlightenment, and influence systemic change through transmedia interaction to understand our personal and collective narrative.

CONCEPTUAL, PRACTICAL & INTERACTIVE DESIGN Main goal is to convey a visual representation of a design, idea, and/or mood. Information science, communication and design: Noninteractive (not related to previous message), reactive (releated only to one previous message), and interactive (related to previous messages and their relationship. Interactive storytelling, a medium where the narrative, and its evolution, can be influenced in real-time.

The interactive architecture of the project, and interactive nature of the Internet, has become a literal and metaphorical reference to the collective consciousness. This bio-information superhighway pulsates electric bits of knowledge through the neural network of earth, and gives us a direct view into our own minds and a reminder of humanity’s evolving relationship to technology. The MATRIX consists of a Forum, Maps (Visual Data), and User profile. This is where the scientist and artist merge. Many of the ideas, values and sentiments expressed in this work are equal parts art and science, with importance placed on both aesthetic and utilitarian instincts. Introducing a dynamic model of informational relationships interacting with an array of diagrammatic forms. In these diagrams, the informational characteristics, index system, as well as relationships between constituent elements are inherent in the design methodology.

The Internet serves as the narrative backbone for the DMTRMX project. The project encourages the world to study and assemble new juxtapositions from the media, and participate in unraveling concepts that only collective brainpower can produce, but by using your individual talent to tell your story. Generate films, music, installations, paintings, eBooks, or anything else imaginable through exploration. Furthermore, RMX’s will escape the online world and physical magnify the cross-referenced collection of knowledge shifting the paradigm. Story elements dispersed systematically across multiple media platforms, with Each element has unique contribution to the whole.

Within this transmedia mythology, our spiritual self plays the protagonist, and follows the traditional hero’s journey for salvation. Our Spirit relies on outside interpretations of this narrative, namely the variety of spiritual knowledge systems to help guide this transmission. We all rely on the way others project their worldview on each of our stories, and this back and forth communication manifests our understanding of our reality. As in real life, where the veracity of any story can only be activated by an audience, DMTrmx depends on platforms outside the straight storytelling of the single film, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, to evolve and influence systemic change.

The exploitation of our global myths have propelled humanity towards a major cataclysm, and only a radical shift from our current conception of reality can correct our direction. As our spiritual and societal institutions collapse, we seek answers to questions that beckon our immediate attention - we must explore our personal, cultural and planetary myths to guide the flowing rivers of our reality; we must hack reality. The DMTRMX creates a space for the development of a novel language of deeply layered allegories to re-interpret and reclaim our mythologies. Open source reality. Hacking the neural super computer of our minds hacks reality and culture. Hackers build, crackers break. Hackers have technical adeptness, delight in problem solving and shared culture/community and what they built. Or, hacking reality through active participation in the formation of a novel collective mythology. The wave of novel concepts will resonate into the collective consciousness and feed its evolution.

How is it happening? Why is it happening?

If thought and speech are the result of a distinct reciprocal evolution, they have reached their contemporary sophistication from much simpler origins. We can also assume that our current level of complexity is but a temporary station on an evolutionary journey into the future. This project should be considered an experimental apparatus whereby a novel culture is progressively engineered as we investigate, evaluate, and modify our thought and language systems according to a new paradigm.
